this is my first blog, wow

wow this is a bit odd. Never really written something online for people to just read. I mean, I’ve written messages to people online and spoken to people online but never really just putting it all out there on the internet. but ig it’ll be fun?

Fri, 4th July

today has been kinda nice. After waking up I sung a few songs, got dressed, and went for a walk with my family. not really too big of a walk but it was still nice. After the walk I went to work where I spent most of the day just preparing this website (it had a couple of problems but my dad fixed it, shoutout to my dad for the assist, lwk carrying). I’m going to the gym for the first time in a while with my parents in around an hour so im a bit excited. i took a break midway through typing this because why not right? decided to do some driving with my mum, she was pretty cool. the road is pretty scary tbh, and driving is still real tricky for me.

Yesterday - A BIG BIG DAY

I do also want to talk about yesterday though. Yesterday was a bit nuts. Me, my brother, my father, and my mother all woke up at around 12am so that we could see my brother off (as he’s going to Fiji for his Year 13 thing). I decided to go with my dad and brother to the airport. We arrived at around 2am to find out that the international airport doesn’t actually open until 3am… So we went to the closest Maccas and grabbed some chicken nuggies. After that, we rushed back to the international airport, and made it for my brother’s flight. We saw him off and decided to go to Coogee Beach as I’ve never been there. So we pull up to Coogee beach at around 4am and take a walk around. My dad is telling me about my grandfather and his life in Coogee beach, and I got to really appreciate it. The waves were massive and the beach at night felt like a different atmosphere. Afterwards, we headed home and got around 1 hours sleep before waking up at 7am (the coogie beach talk was long tbh). we even took some photos. lemme show you guys uhhh, here.

When we woke up at 7am, I did the drivers test again and somehow passed (I have a square brain lmao). My father and I went out and I finally got my L plates. And last night he took me to a parking lot where he taught me how to drive a car properly. (Not completely, but still enough). It was wild though, never thought it’d be so difficult. Call me a child for this, but I always thought that at least some part of driving would be like Mario Kart… Looks like I was wrong, lmao. After that, my dad decided to zip through the parking lot super fast. My adrenaline was all the way up, lol.

I also am super close to releasing my brand “FastPages”. This isn’t advertisement I’m just excited and a bit nervous, but I got this. It’s basically websites but for cheaper customers, I thought it was a good idea to do and Dad agrees. So hip hip hooray, we got a business close to launching now.

hmmmm what else can I talk about here…

THE ECHIDNA - KNUCKLES!!

oh yeah! random thing but I saw an echidna close to our house back in October 2024 and forgot to export it off my camera until now. I haven’t seen him in a while so I hope he’s doing good. Back when I found the lil guy I called him Knuckles (like knuckles the echidna). So uhhh yeah this is what he looks like on the right

I walked him across the road and he turned out to be super chill. I mean don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t hugging the guy or anything, I was keeping my distance from Knuckles because I didn’t really want to get quilled, but I got (probably) a bit closer than I should have and he was fine. If I got too close, he’d crouch and tuck his head under his belly (which looked really cool but I’m 90% sure he thought that I was a predator or something). Either way, I did walk him across the road slowly because there were cars on the road and I didn’t feel like seeing my small quill-filled friend squashed.

I even saw him a little bit after walking him across the road. the little guy scared our cat (clover) by eating a couple of ants near our back-door. He snuck up to our backyard and hid under our deck (its probably where a bunch of ants were now that I think about it), then walked back across the road with me. But since then, I haven’t really seen him.
